ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a temporary substitute for our client in Alvik, Bromma. The client has been granted double assistance around the clock, which means you will always work with a colleague.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 19:00 - 08:00 awake night

• 08:00 - 19:00

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

I am a 46-year-old man with a high neck injury that has left me completely paralyzed from the shoulders down. After a cardiac arrest in 2023, I have a tracheostomy and use a respirator for parts of the day (primarily at night). I have no brain injuries, so I am completely clear-headed.

The work with me involves helping with all daily tasks, hygiene, and caring for my tracheostomy. If you have worked with tracheostomies before, it is a plus, but absolutely not a requirement. We can teach you how it is done.

I live fairly centrally in a 3-room apartment in Alvik. I am looking for assistants for a temporary position; gender does not matter. I need assistants who speak good Swedish as oral communication is my only form of communication. My interests are movies, video games, and spending time with my family. The most important thing for me is that the personal chemistry works and that you are kind and pleasant. I look forward to meeting you at an interview.

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with tracheostomies and home respirators

• Nursing education or equivalent

• Care experience or equivalent

Employment level: Temporary substitute

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of no criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
