We are currently looking for an Information Security Specialist for our client.

About the assignment

• Further develop, implement, and maintain ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001)
• Conduct risk analyses, DPIAs, and other impact assessments
• Support the business in matters related to GDPR and data protection
• Develop and update policies, guidelines, and governing documents
• Ensure compliance in projects and change initiatives
• Plan and conduct internal controls and audits
• Handle and investigate security incidents, including personal data breaches
• Contribute to increased security and privacy awareness in the organization

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of experience in information security, GRC, or data protection
• Documented experience in: GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance)
• Practical GDPR work experience
• Risk management and internal governance
• ISMS and ISO 27001
• Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive operations
• Ability to translate regulations into practical working methods

Meritorious competencies

• Experience with DPIA, incident management, and register records
• Internal audit and compliance follow-up
• Supplier security and third-party risk management
• Knowledge of regulations such as: NIS2, ISO 27001, CMMC, Cyber Essentials
• Experience in security work related to export-controlled information

Personal attributes

• Structured and accustomed to working with governance and regulations
• Analytical with the ability to break down complex requirements
• Communicative and pedagogical in dialogue with various stakeholders
• Independent in delivery, but works well in collaboration

Assignment period: 2026-06-01 to 2026-12-31
