I am now looking for one or more dedicated personal assistants. I am a woman with a great zest for life living in Stocksund, and I want to continue living my life my way – with safe and present support in daily life. I live with MS and am currently undergoing cancer treatment. This means my need for assistance is extensive and requires sensitivity, structure, and a high degree of security in the work. It is particularly important that you can act calmly and quickly in situations involving breathing and medical equipment.

Despite my medical condition, I am a positive and life-enjoying person who appreciates the small joys of everyday life. Cooking, going out and being part of life, as well as animals and collecting, are some of my main interests. At home, I have two birds, so it is important that you are comfortable with animals. I also have a big heart for collecting – previously elephants and now stuffed animals, especially rabbits, which bring me much joy in daily life. I use several medical aids in my daily life to make everyday life as safe and smooth as possible. This includes a cough machine, oxygen mask, suctiometer, ceiling lift, floor lift, CPAP, inhalation devices, and an electric wheelchair.

➡️ The workplace is safe, stable, and well-organized with clear routines. Structure is an important part of daily life, and it is crucial that you can work methodically, follow routines, and at the same time be flexible when the situation requires it.

Are non-smoking and smoke-free, and have basic knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We believe you are a person who is confident in yourself, calm and stable, with a positive attitude and a good sense of humor. You are sensitive, empathetic, and have a responsible work approach. At the same time, you are flexible, proactive, and enjoy working both independently and in a team, as double assistance is common.

Experience from personal assistance or care and nursing is meritorious, as is a nurse assistant education or similar. Knowledge of basic hygiene routines, ergonomics, safe transfer techniques, and experience with various aids is also valuable. However, the most important thing is your attitude and your willingness to perform safe and responsible work.

• 📅 Start date: Immediately.

• 📊 Employment level: Part-time (16 hours per week).

• ⏳ Contract: Introductory shifts and approximately two months of hourly employment before regular employment level is assigned, provided everything goes well. This gives you a chance to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.

We contact candidates who are suitable for a first interview on an ongoing basis. The position is filled when we have found the right person, which may happen before the last application date.
