Hello!
We are looking for a personal assistant for a positive man in his 60s living in central Linköping. He has a brain injury and is hemiplegic (paralyzed on one side).
In this role, you will provide support in daily life, including personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, cooking, cleaning, as well as assistance with social activities and exercise. You will also help with transfers.
The client is social, humorous, and enjoys walking, dining out, and swimming in the indoor pool. Interest in water activities and fitness is therefore meritorious.
We are looking for someone who is sensitive, reliable, and pedagogical, and who can follow established routines. At the client's request, he prefers male applicants.
The position is a temporary hourly employment on an as-needed basis, starting immediately. Working hours consist of 24-hour shifts, both weekdays and weekends, including on-call sleeping duty. You must be available to work during July and August to be considered. If you are a good match for our client, there are good opportunities for continued work into the autumn.
