I am an 8-year-old girl with a muscle disease who has just been approved for personal assistance. To our newly formed team, we are now looking for assistants who are genuinely interested in working with children and who have a respectful and warm approach.

My need for assistance primarily concerns the physical aspects, which can sometimes be heavy, so we are looking for you who have good physical fitness. I also have extensive mucus issues, so it is important to be vigilant and calm to handle stressful situations that may arise in connection with this.

I can tell you what I want myself, but it still requires you to be attentive and able to read my body language. We will learn most things together, as my needs, just like everyone else's, are individual. We would prefer if you are a trained assistant nurse or have worked with something similar, but most importantly, of course, is the personal chemistry.

It is important to me that my assistants are happy, have imagination, and take the initiative so that I get a fun and meaningful everyday life with people I can rely on.

During the day, I go to school, and my assistants are welcome to accompany me there. There, I would like my assistants to encourage play with my classmates and, in between, keep a low profile.

The working hours are scheduled both during the day and in the evening, Monday to Friday. I would prefer female applicants, and it is desirable that you have a driver's license.

It is important to me that you speak and understand Swedish well so that communication between you and me can function properly.
