We are looking for both temporary and permanent assistants for a young child with extensive care needs. The child is an only child and lives with their parents in a secure home environment. Despite their care needs, the child is curious and enjoys playing and exploring their surroundings.

About the role

As an assistant, you will work closely with the child at home and during outings. The need for care requires 24/7 supervision, and for medical reasons, you will always work in pairs to ensure safe care. Key responsibilities include monitoring breathing, managing the tracheostomy cannula, preventing blockages through suctioning, and administering inhalations. The child also receives nutrition via a feeding tube when necessary. You will receive full training and introduction to the medical procedures, as well as ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• You are female
• You are a non-smoker
• You have good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
• You have a driver's license and access to a car, as this is necessary to commute to the workplace effectively.

About the employment

Working hours vary between day, evening, and night shifts according to the schedule. Start date is by agreement.
