We now welcome you, as a nursing assistant, to our cozy senior living facility, KVS, in Vejbystrand.

In the role of nursing assistant at Forenede Care, you work to provide excellent care, service, and support to our residents. Here, you make a difference every day while having fun at work. Together with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, you help shape the future of elderly care.

Forenede Care AB operates KVS on behalf of Ängelholm Municipality. We have 34 apartments divided into two units. One unit is for residents with somatic illnesses, and the other unit is for residents with dementia. KVS has a fantastic outdoor environment with the sea as a neighbor.

We work in teams consisting of care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, team leaders, and the operations manager.

KVS is located near a bus stop, and you can park easily at our nearby parking spaces next to the building.

In the role of nursing assistant, you provide care and support based on the resident's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, answer alarms, and provide social interaction. Social interaction is a vital part of our work, ensuring that all our residents can live life to the fullest, for their entire lives. This can involve everything from conversation, playing games, going on excursions, taking a bike ride, or finding fun activities to do together. You also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff, such as medication administration and exercise training.

Job Description

We are currently seeking three colleagues with a workload of 75%, starting as soon as possible. A higher workload may become available in the future. These are permanent positions with a 6-month probation period.

To be considered for this position, you need:

  • A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) as a nursing assistant.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • Openness to working on both somatic and dementia units.

We also consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.

To thrive in this role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings, while being skilled at building good relationships and being service-oriented. We work both in teams and independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in this environment.

Before we offer employment, you must provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.
