Your responsibilities

The position involves research in neurotechnology with a focus on biomedical instrumentation, signal and image processing, modeling and simulation, as well as data-intensive methods and AI-based approaches for analysis and decision support. In the final stage, translational methods for technology transfer, evaluation, and implementation in healthcare are also required.

The role requires a technical background and experience collaborating with clinical researchers in the field, where technology transfer, evaluation, and implementation in healthcare are central. The position also includes teaching and administrative duties. As a Professor of Neurotechnology, you will supervise undergraduate and doctoral students, contribute to pedagogical development, supervision competence, and academic mentoring within the research area. The role also includes responsibility for contributing to the development of education in medical technology and neurotechnology at both undergraduate and advanced levels.

• Your research focus is biomedical instrumentation, including signal and image processing as well as computer models and simulation.
• You have experience in close collaboration with clinical researchers in the neuro field.
• You have experience in technology transfer, evaluation, and implementation in healthcare.

Since teaching and research are conducted in Swedish and English, you must demonstrate the ability to teach and conduct research in English. It is desirable that you can teach and conduct research in Swedish within two years.
