ABOUT THE ROLE:

Friday is currently looking for an Electronics Engineer within medical technology, where you will work on innovative products that truly make a difference. Here, everything from portable ventilators and sleep therapy solutions to advanced respiratory care systems is developed.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will become part of an engaged R&D team where you are involved in the entire product development process – from early ideas and requirement specification to design, testing, verification, and onward to production. You will have a varied role where you both work hands-on with the technology and contribute to the overall development.

Some of the main responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the entire electronics design – from architecture to the final solution.
  • Select components and develop robust designs with high demands on quality and safety.
  • Design and develop PCBs (schematic and layout), preferably using modern tools like Altium.
  • Contribute technical expertise to the team and explore and evaluate new technologies.
  • Be involved in requirement specification, analysis, and ensuring product quality.
  • Test, verify, and troubleshoot products, as well as identify root causes for improvement.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

  • Hold an engineering degree (Master's) from a technical university with a focus on electronics.
  • Have experience designing circuit boards and working hands-on with soldering and electronics assembly.
  • Have very good knowledge of English and Swedish.
  • Have experience with Altium and simulation tools.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client's and our side is that you will become directly employed by the client after 9–12 months.
