What we offer you!

Our operations are located throughout the municipality, offering the possibility to work close to where you live. You are responsible for getting to your workplace, so ensure that public transport goes to the area where you wish to work if you do not have a driver's license.

When you submit your application, you can choose which areas within elderly care you are interested in; home care services, elderly housing, or short-term/rotating care.

We offer you employment for the entire summer. The summer substitute positions span between weeks 23–35 and have varying degrees of employment. In your application, specify when and where you prefer to work. Working hours are scheduled and may involve day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.

What you will be working with:

• Assisting with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing, toilet visits, and support during meals.
• Working according to person-centered care, adapting support to the individual's unique needs and wishes.
• Supporting in daily chores such as cleaning, laundry, and minor shopping in the local area.
• Participating in social activities, providing support and guidance.
• Documentation in digital systems.
• Collaborating with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, as well as coordinating with relatives.
• Following workplace routines and guidelines.

Who are you?

If you are studying or have studied the Care and Nursing Program or other similar education, it is a big plus. Attach a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate stating that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023, in your application. Previous experience working in elderly care is meritorious.

We are looking for you who:

• have good digital competence
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both in reading, speaking, and writing, where you need to complete a language test in connection with your application.
• are over 18 years old
• have a driver's license if you are interested in working in home care services

We value your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is secure, flexible, and takes responsibility for their own tasks. You have a good ability to collaborate and build relationships with a respectful and helpful attitude. You have an understanding of other people's needs and feelings.

Other information

• We conduct language tests for positions within elderly care, so you need to complete a test when applying. The link to the test will be sent in the message when you apply.
• Before employment, you need to show a passport/national ID. If you have citizenship from a country outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland, you also need to show your residence/work permit. This is to secure your identity and your right to work in Sweden.
• Before employment with the care administration, we want you to present a valid extract from the criminal record. You can already order one from the police to speed up the recruitment process. • To be employed as a nursing assistant with us, you need to present proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from an employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant before July 1, 2023. Attach this to your application.
