Personal assistance is a service provided under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You safeguard the client's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily routine.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and identify what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a playful 3-year-old boy living in Älta

• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

• Has good physical fitness to perform heavy lifting

• Is non-smoking and perfume-free during working hours

• Is tolerant of furry pets (cat)

• Is attentive to needs and balances activities

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience of similar work

• Have medical knowledge

• Are playful, have a knack for children, and take initiative for activities

• Have experience with tube feeding, food, and drink

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

We are looking for two personal assistants for two fixed schedule shifts. The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment rate of 40%.

Working hours are scheduled for night shifts (active night) between 22:00 and 09:00.

Salary:

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are provided according to the collective agreement.

Start date:

According to agreement.

Being an employee at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present valid ID and any documents verifying the right to work within Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police criminal register prior to a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
