Working as a Dental Hygienist at Smile Dental Care

Preventive dental care is a natural part of our offering – and as a dental hygienist, you play a central role in this work. You will work with standard tasks within the profession, such as supportive and periodontal treatments, pediatric dentistry, and basic examinations. If needed, assisting tasks may also be part of the role, which we hope you view positively.

At our clinics, we work without hierarchy and with a strong team focus. This means we help each other in daily work and jointly take responsibility for clinic-wide tasks, such as sterilization, payments, reception work, and administrative duties.

At Smile, you are given great trust and freedom in your role. You are responsible for your own schedule, which creates a flexible and well-balanced workday. This, in turn, provides good conditions for high-quality treatments, satisfied patients, and a sustainable operation.

We hold regular clinic and therapy meetings where we reflect, develop, and support each other together. At the same time, much of the collaboration happens in daily dialogue. As a dental hygienist, you work independently in your treatment room but are an integral part of the team, with close and continuous communication with dentists and colleagues regarding patient treatment – before, during, and after the procedure – to ensure the best possible care.

At the clinic in Hässleholm, there is also a specialist dentist in periodontology available part-time, creating excellent opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and further development in the periodontal field.

In addition to the competencies mentioned above, we expect you to:

• Be a licensed dental hygienist

• Have previous work experience as a dental hygienist

• Speak and write good Swedish

Employment Type and Start Date

We offer a permanent part-time position based on your preferences (approx. 50–62.5%), with the possibility to work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
