Teledyne FLIR in Täby is now looking for an Inventory and Logistics Coordinator who will play a vital role in managing their global demonstration warehouse for the Applications Engineering team.

About the Role

As an Inventory and Logistics Coordinator, you will serve as the primary administrative and logistical support function for managing Teledyne FLIR's demonstration warehouse.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the company's demonstration equipment is correctly registered in their asset management system and for coordinating shipments to various parts of the world. The role requires a high degree of accuracy, as the equipment is used by customers and internal teams globally. It is therefore crucial that everything is complete, correctly packed, and ready for delivery.

You will also collaborate with the service department and other internal teams to ensure that equipment is inspected, maintained, and documented correctly.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will, among other things:

  • Be responsible for the administration and updating of FLIR's asset management system
  • Coordinate global shipments and movements of demonstration equipment
  • Ensure that all demo systems are complete and correctly packed before shipping
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing demo equipment
  • Ensure that cables, stands, and accessories are included in shipments
  • Coordinate any repairs and service cases together with the service department
  • Ensure correct export classification and documentation
  • Work with international documentation and compliance
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of processes for inventory control and documentation

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, structured, and service-oriented. You thrive in a role where you combine administration with practical work and find it easy to collaborate with different teams.

You have an eye for detail and understand the importance of everything being correct when equipment is sent to customers and teams around the world.

We believe you have

  • Experience in logistics, warehousing, coordination, or administration
  • Very good English skills, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Experience working with systems or databases
  • Good structure and the ability to work meticulously
  • Good communication skills and a service-oriented work approach

It is a merit if you have

  • Experience in inventory management.
  • Experience with export documentation or international logistics

Other Information

The role may involve some physical handling of equipment, as some shipments can be heavy. It is therefore important that you are comfortable handling and lifting equipment when necessary.
