Every year, the Viktor Rydberg Foundation recruits student resources/teacher assistants for various tasks at our schools. Currently, we are looking for one to join Campus Viktor Rydberg High School.
Examples of duties:
- Manning the school entrance
- Answering questions and managing equipment lending
- Supporting the school's administrators, school leadership, and IT department
- Handling ongoing communication via email and other internal systems
- Providing support in the classroom when needed
The position is 100%, fixed-term, and covers the entire academic year 2026/27, starting in August.
Your role as a student resource involves collaborating with other staff members on campus and within the Viktor Rydberg Foundation schools to support school operations, ensuring we create the best possible conditions for our educational mission. The focus is on achieving positive outcomes and value for the students and contributing to a good working environment for both staff and students.
A large part of your day will be spent in our entrance, where you create a welcoming atmosphere and serve as the school's hub. The work in the entrance is dynamic; some moments are intense with many questions and equipment lending, while other periods are calmer. We are looking for someone who appreciates this variation and proactively takes on administrative tasks during quieter moments.
It is a requirement that you have at least three years of upper secondary education or equivalent. It is also an asset if you have previous experience with administrative tasks, social media and digital communication, IT support, have worked in reception, and/or have experience working in a school.
You have a good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. You are proactive, service-oriented, and flexible depending on what the situation requires. It is important that you are structured and systematic in your approach, observant and responsive to what needs to be done, and can prioritize effectively. You have high social competence, good teamwork skills, are responsible, and have a professional attitude and approach.
We are recruiting continuously and look forward to receiving your application. The position may be filled before the application deadline.
The Viktor Rydberg Foundation schools are an organization driven by a clear and stated vision and business idea: we want to be at the forefront of pedagogical development and contribute to improving the Swedish school system as a whole. Therefore, we grant great pedagogical freedom to our employees, whose ideas help drive the operations forward, complemented by careful evaluation and follow-up. Students' expressed and implied needs, wishes, and expectations guide our operations. Each school has its own management team, which provides short decision-making paths and contributes to a creative working environment. The Foundation has extensive experience in applying IT, both pedagogically and administratively, and provides the systems and technical tools our staff need in all aspects of their work.
