Your tasks As an inspection technician, you will perform thorough and safety-focused vehicle inspections while creating a positive experience for our customers through clear and friendly communication. You contribute to a safe working environment through collaboration and responsibility, facing a varied workday filled with technical challenges and customer contact.

From vehicle interest to certified technician To succeed in your new role, you will receive comprehensive training that certifies you as an inspection technician for the vehicles you will inspect. During and after the training, you will always have support from our training organization and mentors until you are ready to work independently.

• Are committed to continuously educating yourself and developing your knowledge
• Are skilled at building and maintaining good customer relationships

• Speak and write Swedish fluently
• Good vehicle knowledge and technical competence
• Class B driver's license (manual)

Merits: Work experience and/or education in vehicle technology, sales, and service. Class C and motorcycle licenses are considered merits.

About the position We offer a full-time position at the station in Lidköping, but some service at other stations in the surrounding area will occur. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period, after which it transitions to a permanent position. Working hours are varied and spread across all days of the week, including evenings and weekends.

For over 50 years, the state-owned Bilprovningen had a monopoly on the Swedish vehicle inspection market. When the market was deregulated in 2010, Besikta Bilprovning entered as a new player in vehicle inspection.

Besikta Bilprovning Sweden has a large station network with 200 stations in 164 locations across the country. The ambition is to become "your local vehicle inspection" and therefore we continue to expand to new areas.

We offer inspections for most types of vehicles, from cars and motorcycles to heavy vehicles such as trucks, buses, and trailers. In addition to the mandatory inspection, we also offer our customers extra safety checks through our add-on packages, where we give your car a thorough check beyond the ordinary.
