About the Assignment

We are currently seeking an Operational Buyer for a consulting assignment in Linköping, where you will become a key part of Supply Support with a focus on ensuring deliveries to production. The assignment is characterized by a strong delivery focus and close collaboration with several functions within the organization.

As a Buyer, you have operational responsibility for ensuring that planned needs are met on time and with the right quality. The role involves production-proximate work where you handle the procurement of both standard components and more complex, customer-specific products.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Procurement of spare parts, repairs, and services related to components

• Order placement and follow-up of deliveries

• Handling of sales orders

• Obtaining cost estimates

• Process optimization in the supply chain

• Review of suppliers' cost analyses

You will work in a dynamic environment where you independently drive your process forward while collaborating with several interfaces within the organization.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in operational procurement

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel

• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner at a high pace

Merits:

• Experience in procurement within regulated industries such as aircraft maintenance or defense industry

• Experience with or interest in export control

• Experience with the IFS business system

• Work model: Hybrid (approximately 3 days on-site)

• Assignment start: Immediate

• Assignment length: 12 months

• Possibility for extension: May occur

• Security clearance: May be required during the course of the assignment
