The Care and Welfare Administration, with approximately 1,500 employees, is one of the administrations in Mölndal Municipality and covers elderly care, disability support, and health and medical care.

The Disability Support Unit works with a team-based approach. You will join a team consisting of 2 nurses, 1 occupational therapist, and 1 physiotherapist, all working towards the same residential homes and daily activities as you. In total, there are 3 teams within disability support that also assist each other across boundaries when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a licensed nurse to join our team. We are a positive and experienced team with great commitment to our mission and those we serve. We work with patients within all three LSS target groups in residential homes with special services (BMSS), daily activities, and personal assistance. Geographically, we operate from the Health and Medical Care Unit's office on Flöjelbergsgatan, where other licensed personnel in the municipality also have their base. We follow the intentions of the "Close Care" reform and strive for the patient to be involved in their own care. You will be the responsible nurse (PAS) for residents within social psychiatry or BMSS, as well as daily activities, which means you have overall responsibility for the planning for the patients. You will create individual care plans and conduct risk assessments together with the rest of the team and with each patient. It is your and the team's responsibility that nursing care is performed according to current legislation.

As a nurse, you will have close collaboration with employees and managers within the various operations. You will continuously work with mentoring, educating, and informing care staff. Therefore, it is important that you thrive in a role where you get to work with modern methods, be involved in development, and contribute to increased knowledge. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with many years of experience in the profession. You need to have an interest in and experience within the disability support area.

As a nurse, you thrive in meeting others, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role, and you have an open and positive attitude with the patient's needs as the starting point in your work.

As a person, you are quick to analyze problems, see connections, and propose possible solutions within the framework of your assignment. You use time efficiently and work systematically, organized, and methodically. You ensure that the work is completed and follow up on the results.

We also see that you are change-oriented, see opportunities for changes, and create situations where new ideas and proposals can be developed. You drive long-term and sustainable change work.

You have good computer skills and a B driver's license, as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
