The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and home healthcare, individual and family support, and care and nursing homes.
Home Care and Home Healthcare are responsible for services according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. We operate throughout the municipality and are responsible for regulatory authority, home healthcare, home care, and short-term care. Our mission is to provide support and assistance to those who have difficulty managing daily life, as well as to deliver high-quality and safe home healthcare.
Home healthcare in Ulricehamn Municipality has developed significantly in recent years and now offers both planned and acute health and medical services in the patient's home. We provide advanced care to patients of all ages with varying diagnoses and needs, ranging from rehabilitation interventions to end-of-life care.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a physiotherapist in the municipality's home healthcare, you will participate in patient-focused teams consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, social workers, assistant nurses, and unit managers. Your tasks include assessing functional ability, designing, and implementing physiotherapeutic rehabilitation interventions. You are responsible for prescribing assistive devices. Supervision from a physiotherapeutic perspective and delegation to care and support staff are part of the work.
Working with us offers flexibility and variety, as you largely plan and structure your workday yourself based on the patient's needs, in dialogue with colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
You applying for this position must be a licensed physiotherapist. Further education and/or experience in the profession is an asset, as is previous experience in municipal primary care (home healthcare).
We are looking for a colleague who contributes to developing our rehabilitation operations, requiring a genuine interest in rehabilitation work within municipal services. Your collaboration is characterized by an active and responsible role where service mindset and good treatment are in focus. You have good initiative and are independent, while also enjoying working together in a team. You are a positive colleague with good interpersonal skills who contributes to maintaining our good work climate. Flexibility and a solution-focused approach are valuable qualities we seek.
Furthermore, you must have the ability to professionally treat people in various situations and collaborate with those around you, with a patient-centered approach. Since good cooperation with patients, colleagues, and other professional groups is central, it is important that you are relationship-building and responsive. You have good computer skills and express yourself well in speech and writing.
The position involves daytime work Monday–Friday. A Class B driver's license is a requirement for the position. We place great emphasis on personal suitability during recruitment.
