Hospitals in the West is a division within the Västra Götaland Region and consists of four hospitals: Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Approximately 3,000 employees work every day to provide high-quality, safe, and good specialist healthcare.

About the Medicine Department

The Medicine Department at Kungälv Hospital consists of three wards and an outpatient unit. The wards are located in the brand new hospital building. Our specializations include a cardiology ward with intensive care beds, an internal medicine ward focused on intermediate care, gastroenterology, hematology, and diabetes, as well as a ward with a general medicine focus. We therefore have the capacity to receive a wide range of medical diagnoses.

Tasks and Working Methods

We offer you a temporary position on a medical ward. It is a stimulating, responsible, fun, and exciting job where you will have the opportunity to develop your competence together with new colleagues. We offer an individual introduction before you start working independently.

About You

We are looking for someone who has previously worked in a hospital and enjoys the environment and pace. You may be a newly graduated nurse curious about our environment, or perhaps you have left the hospital setting and missed it.

You should find it easy to collaborate with others and want to be part of our wonderful team where we drive the operations forward together, with the patient in focus.

Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse.

Terms

The position is a summer substitute role from June to August, dates to be agreed upon. There may be an opportunity for extension.
