We are looking for nurse assistants for the summer of 2026 for our activities within medicine. We offer a fun, stimulating, responsible, and exciting job where you get the opportunity to develop your competence together with new colleagues.

Us at the Medicine Department

The Medicine Department at Kungälv Hospital consists of three care units and one outpatient unit. The care units are located in the brand new hospital building. Our specializations include a cardiology unit including a section with cardiac intensive care beds, an internal medicine unit focused on intermediate care, gastroenterology, hematology, and diabetes, as well as a unit with a general medicine focus. We therefore have the capacity to receive a wide range of medical diagnoses.

Tasks and Working Methods

We offer you a temporary position on a medical care unit – a stimulating, responsible, fun, and exciting job where you get the opportunity to develop your competence together with new colleagues. We offer you an individual introduction before you start working independently.

Qualifications

You are an educated nurse assistant. Merits include experience in emergency care, hospital experience in the form of previous employment or internship, and experience in venous blood sampling and nursing care.

If you are a student on the nursing program, you need to have completed term 3 or term 4 depending on the education program.

If you are a student on the medical program, you need to have completed term 5 or term 6 depending on the education program.

Protected Job Title for Nurse Assistants

From July 1, 2023, nurse assistant is a protected job title. This means that you will need a certificate from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nurse assistant within healthcare and social services.
