Infectious Diseases Department 22 is an acute ward with 24/7 admissions. Our mission is to provide qualified care, treatment, and nursing for patients with acute, chronic, infectious, and non-infectious diseases. This means that as a Nursing Assistant with us, you will have many stimulating tasks and face new challenges in your work. The department is in continuous development as the infectious disease landscape changes, both globally and in Sweden. It is a pleasant department with an open atmosphere and good collaboration between all professional categories. We hope that you will want to become part of our team!

The Infectious Diseases Department is located next to our infectious diseases outpatient clinic, where we also have our needle exchange program. We are therefore close to our doctors and colleagues at the clinic.

Job Responsibilities

As a Nursing Assistant, you will work with all tasks occurring on a hospital ward, such as personal care, meal support, sampling, checks, observations, as well as documentation and reporting of the patient's condition. You will assist nurses and doctors during examinations and treatments and contribute to the patient's entire care process for a safe and secure discharge.

High demands are placed on a hygienic working method, where active risk awareness in daily life forms the basis for preventing the spread of infection between patients and from patients to staff. The work also includes mentoring new staff and students, as well as contributing to the development of the operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained Nursing Assistant. Experience from infectious disease care is an asset; otherwise, you will get it with us. Are you flexible, responsible, have a positive attitude, and enjoy emergency care? You might be the one we are looking for!

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
