We are currently seeking a qualified teacher to teach wood and metal crafts for grades 7–9.

In your role as a crafts teacher, you will teach students in grades 7–9. You will participate in the pedagogical development work and documentation in accordance with the national curriculum and school objectives. You should be well-versed in your teaching assignment based on current regulatory documents and have good skills in planning, implementing, documenting, following up, and developing the pedagogical activities together with your work team. Based on the curriculum, you will choose methods, content, and interaction styles based on each student's knowledge, experience, and specific prerequisites.

The Assignment

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach in grades 7–9. If you have qualifications in additional subjects, this may lead to a full-time position. You have a good understanding of the school's regulatory documents and the ability to implement them in daily work in a structured and purposeful manner. Furthermore, you possess well-developed didactic and pedagogical competence, enabling you to lead and organize teaching to create a calm and safe, stimulating learning environment throughout the school day.

You work based on research and have the ability to continuously develop your teaching based on evidence and proven experience. You are also accustomed to using relevant digital tools as a natural part of teaching.

As a person, you have a professional approach and value good relationships. You collaborate well with students, parents, and colleagues and actively contribute to a positive and developmental work environment at the school.

Roslagsskolan is centrally located in the beautiful nature of Norrtälje, creating excellent conditions for varied and reality-based learning through proximity to nature, business, and sports facilities. The school has approximately 500 students in grades 7–9, organized into four work teams.

The operation is run by around 65 engaged employees, of whom nearly 40 are educators with high subject competence and a strong focus on quality in teaching. Together, we create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' knowledge development.

• Employment type: Permanent upon presentation of a teaching license.

• Scope: 60–100 %.

• Start date: 2026-08-10.
