We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher or a competent childcare worker with Montessori competence to join Bellmanskällans Montessori Preschool in Mälarhöjden. One of our colleagues is going on parental leave.

Bellmanskällans Montessori Preschool is a parent cooperative where the parents on the board hold the primary responsibility. The principal holds the pedagogical responsibility and leads the work at the preschool. We have been operating since 1987 and work according to the Montessori pedagogy. We have trained Montessori educators with extensive experience of working with the child at the center. The environment in the departments is appealing and stimulating with Montessori materials. The days are well-structured, and the children get a balanced day with both outdoor activities, indoor work, and rest. The children play and work with various materials and projects during the day, all based on interest. The educators teach the children both in groups and individually. We place great emphasis on creating a good sense of camaraderie in the group and making the children independent. We work according to Montessori's thought: "Help me to do it myself".

Everyone at the preschool has time to actively work with quality assurance so that the pedagogical level is constantly further developed. We have a well-functioning natural cooperation with the guardians.

Qualifications

• You are an action-oriented licensed preschool teacher or competent childcare worker.
• You have Montessori training or experience with Montessori.
• You have a child-focused approach.
• You make children's learning processes visible to children, parents, and colleagues.
• You are responsible and structured.
• You have a clear practical ability to realize the curriculum's goals and values.
• You have good computer skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing.
• You actively ensure quality: plan, analyze, and further develop education and teaching.
• You have good collaboration skills with both colleagues and guardians.
• You are responsive and constructive in conflicts.

Other

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. We place great emphasis on personal chemistry, and the position may be filled before the final day. An extract from the criminal record register is required according to the School Act. We warmly welcome your application!

About the employment

Salary

Monthly salary according to collective agreement.

Employment conditions

100% position – temporary replacement due to parental leave.

Start date: August 3rd or by agreement. Contract period until 2027-01-31 with a good chance of extension.
