Our vision is for Åva to be a school to look forward to, trust, and grow with. We are a municipal upper secondary school with around 1,400 students and 130 employees. The school offers both specialized and broad programs, including vocational and university-preparatory tracks. Åva is an attractive school with high demand, and we have students from both Täby and neighboring municipalities. All professionals at the school believe in the individual's potential and collaborate to help students develop personal learning and study strategies. The school has a student health team with counselors, career advisors, special educators, and school nurses who support students in various ways. Who are you?

We are looking for a certified upper secondary school teacher with qualifications in mathematics and at least one additional subject. You have excellent skills in planning and organizing both your own work and the students' work in an efficient and structured manner. In the classroom, you create a safe and trusting environment where all students are given the opportunity to express themselves and be heard. You have the ability to inspire, engage, and challenge students in their learning based on their individual circumstances. As a person, you are solution-focused, collaborative, value quality, and have the ability to create a positive atmosphere in your work, both as a teacher and as a colleague. You value close collaboration with both subject colleagues and colleagues from other subjects. We see you as a clear pedagogical leader with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position is a permanent employment with a start date of August 7, 2026.
