About the role

As a special needs teacher with us, you will work both directly with students in need of support and through special pedagogical mentoring of colleagues. You will work across the entire school, from preschool class to grade 9.

In your work, you will help investigate needs and plan and implement measures so that students can best benefit from the teaching.

You are a clear, creative, and secure pedagogical leader with good knowledge of using digital tools.

You will become part of the school's student health team together with the principal, deputy principals, special needs teachers/special pedagogues, counselors, SYV (school health services), school nurses, school psychologists, and school doctors. Together, we work in a promoting, preventive, and supportive manner for all students – as well as through targeted measures where needs exist.

You will collaborate closely with other special needs teachers/special pedagogues and contribute to maintaining an overview of the school's special pedagogical needs and how resources are best allocated. You will also lead ESM (student support meetings) together with work teams and counselors.
