About the Job

The principal's area of Näsbypark School in Täby Municipality consists of four schools: Näsbypark School, Slottspark School, Norskolan, and Näsbypark Resource School. The schools work closely together with a shared vision of learning and development under the leadership of the principal. The schools are located in the Näsbypark area of Täby, a beautiful natural area with excellent connections to Stockholm via the Roslagsbanan train. We are now seeking a teacher for a temporary position in grades 4–6.

You will be part of Näsbypark School, which has approximately 600 students in grades 4–9. Teaching will primarily take place in grades 4–6. The school has high goals for student development and knowledge acquisition and works with structured, equitable teaching where students can have influence over their own learning. Näsbypark School also works with Inclusive Behavioral Support in Schools (IBIS) to strengthen students' positive behaviors so that both the learning environment and the psychosocial environment promote students' learning and well-being.

As a teacher with us, you will drive and develop teaching together with students, colleagues, and school leadership. You will actively work for a school where everyone is included in the activities. You will be part of a competent subject team in Mathematics and Science/Technology where there is strong collegial collaboration. Mentoring is included in the assignment.

Who are you?

We want you to:

• have a teaching license and be qualified to teach Mathematics, Science, and Technology
• work both formatively and with a focus on language development
• be well-versed in the curriculum documents and able to translate them into learning that is understandable and meaningful for students
• use digital tools for student learning
• consider the whole student's study situation in your mentoring and collaborate with student health services where necessary

As a person, you are structured, well-planned, and enthusiastic in your teaching. You are collaborative and interested in contributing to the professional development of the organization. You have the ability to plan and organize both your own work and the students' work efficiently, creating a trusting classroom climate where all students are heard.

We prefer that you have worked as a teacher for a few years, but newly graduated teachers are also welcome to apply.
