About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative at SJR, you will become a vital part of our continued growth journey. This is a customer-focused and business-driven role where you are responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities. You will actively work on new customer acquisition through prospecting, research, and outbound contact with companies and decision-makers in finance, economics, and other business support functions.

You play a central role in building our pipeline – from the first contact to a booked meeting – and serve as a crucial link between the market and our account managers. Together, you will ensure a professional and precise dialogue throughout the initial phases of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect new potential customers via phone, email, LinkedIn, and market data.
  • Identify the right companies/contact persons and initiate the first dialogue.
  • Build and maintain a stable pipeline with qualified leads.
  • Create and book relevant customer meetings for our senior salespeople and consulting managers.
  • Follow up on campaigns and process incoming leads.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure efficient information flow.
  • Contribute market insights and environmental monitoring to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who currently works in a similar role or has experience in a sales or relationship-driven position, preferably within B2B. You enjoy an activity-driven working style where personal responsibility and initiative are central. You feel confident making the first contact with customers and driving dialogues forward, and you are motivated by working towards clear goals where you have the opportunity to influence your own results.

You are communicative, curious, and have a knack for making contact and building trust with new people.

We expect you to have experience in prospecting and lead generation. It is a merit if you have previously worked with telephone-based sales and have a post-secondary education in Economics or Finance. You must be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
