About the Role

As an employee with us, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model in terms of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are currently seeking a store salesperson for our Building Department.

Your main tasks will primarily consist of sales and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you will ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of Typical Tasks

• Active sales of the product range within the Building Department
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area.
• Responsibility for incoming goods, merchandising, as well as setup and renovations within the department
• Analyze the department's product presentation
• Be helpful in other departments when needed

Your Profile

• High school education or equivalent, along with experience in retail.
• Relevant professional experience or education in the construction sector.
• Passionate about offering our customers the best possible service.
• Realize the customer's project through professional advice on our wide product range.
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented.
• Good physical condition as some departments require heavy lifting.
• It is an advantage if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4).

Working Hours/Duration: Fixed-term contract. Part-time, 35 hours/week. Working hours include mornings, evenings, and every other weekend.

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement.
