Våxtorp School is a K-9 school located in Våxtorp, 13 km southeast of Laholm. The school is currently in an intensive phase of development, looking forward and placing students, their learning, and development at the center of our work within the teaching teams. The goals of the operation are to work towards the curriculum's knowledge objectives, develop students' social competence, and create participation in their own learning process.

We want all students to become their best selves during their time with us. We believe students have the prerequisites to do so, as our pedagogical direction is to use a language- and knowledge-developing approach and create accessible learning environments throughout the operation. In our supportive and preventive work, there are excellent support functions readily available, such as special education teachers, school psychologists, counselors, and school nurses.

About the Position

Våxtorp School is seeking a teacher for grades 4–6. In grades 4–6, we have transitioned from subject teachers to class teachers to increase the time the teacher spends as a mentor in their class. You will also be part of a teaching team. As a person, you are responsible, secure, and clear in your professional role. You always keep the student's best interests in focus, and your perspective is characterized by respect for the individual and their needs and prerequisites. You find it easy to build good relationships with our students, parents, and colleagues. Your conviction is that all students do the right thing if they can.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for a licensed teacher for grades 4–6 with qualification to teach at the middle school level in Science (No) and Technology.

It is an asset if you have worked in a similar position previously and have taught Science and Technology.

It is also an asset if you are qualified in other subjects as well.
