Vallberg School

Vallberg School is a F-6 school with approximately 160 students. The school is complemented by an after-school program that offers various activities. The school is located in the village and has a large schoolyard with access to the Nature Trail developed in collaboration with teachers and students in cooperation with the local community. Vallberg School is also a training school, which means we have a close collaboration with Halmstad University and the privilege of regularly receiving students.

About the Position

The position involves being a mentor in one of our classes in the middle school, which you share with a teaching colleague.

We are looking for teachers qualified to teach Swedish, English, mathematics, and social or natural sciences, as well as possibly other subjects depending on qualifications. The assignment includes planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work based on the school's governing documents, the student's needs and interests, both individually and together with a colleague in the class and work team.

You collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for students and staff and actively participate in the school's development work. As a person, you are responsible, secure, and clear in your professional role. You always have the student's best interests in focus, and your perspective is characterized by respect for the individual and their needs and conditions. You easily build good relationships with students and colleagues. Your genuine belief that everyone does right if they can is crucial.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

You have a teaching license and qualifications required for at least grades 4-6. Teaching in middle school is meritorious.
