The Role of Special Educator with Us

In this role, you will contribute to a culture of shared learning where we collectively take responsibility, inspire, collaborate, and support one another. As a special educator with us, it is a given that you enjoy collaborating with all staff at the school. You like to guide the school staff and are comfortable with the general routines regarding special support.

Fjordskolan currently has an engaged and driven special teacher who carries out the special educational mission. We are now looking for a special educator to join our team who, in collaboration with our special teacher and the school's student health team, will take significant responsibility for the school's work regarding, among other things, students' guidance and stimulation.

Together with our special teacher at the school, you will be part of the school's student health team and an integral part of the team. You will lead development processes in our collegial learning. In close consultation with school management and other colleagues, you will have good conditions to plan, implement, and evaluate the development initiatives for which you are responsible.

Your Profile

It is a given for you to always have the best interests of the student in mind. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed teacher,
• is an educated special educator,
• has several years of experience as a teacher in primary school,
• has experience in guiding colleagues.

It is an advantage if you have:

• qualification in mathematics.
