JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you passionate about the Arabic language and the power of multilingualism? We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for our students! As a mother tongue teacher in Arabic with us, you are not just an educator; you are a bridge builder between cultures and a key person in the student's identity and knowledge development.

In the role of mother tongue teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching of Arabic for elementary school students. Your focus is on strengthening students' language skills and pride in their cultural heritage, while also supporting their overall school success.

The position is a temporary position with a school year contract for the academic year 26/27, from August 10 to June 16.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed and thrive in the role, the following is required:

• Teaching certification with authorization to teach Arabic in elementary school.
• Arabic as a mother tongue and documented very good knowledge of the language (spoken and written).
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish for collaboration and documentation.

Meritorious:

• Experience as a mother tongue teacher or in elementary school.
• Experience with digital learning tools.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
