We are currently seeking a Sales & Negotiation Manager who wants to become a central part of our commercial operations and contribute to building long-term relationships within the defense and security sector. The role involves close collaboration with FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration), the defense industry, and international partners — offering the opportunity to influence deliveries that play a crucial role for Sweden's and its allies' operational capabilities. Location: By agreement.
Responsibilities
Your main areas of responsibility include:
- Drive and develop strategic business within the defense industry
- Advise in complex negotiations with FMV, defense-related actors, and international partners
- Identify new business opportunities within military and critical societal security
- Develop and manage Inter Defence's network within the defense industry
- Handle tenders, quotation work, and requirement analysis in dialogue with authorities and international partners
- Initiate and participate in market and customer activities
- Ensure that business complies with regulations, export controls, and security requirements
- Represent Inter Defence in industry forums, trade fairs, and meetings
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has/is:
- Substantial experience in complex B2B sales or commercial responsibility
- Documented experience in leading business negotiations
- Experience working with FMV (highly desirable)
- Established network within the Swedish defense industry (desirable)
- Understanding of public procurement and authority-related decision-making processes
- Good technical understanding or experience from technically advanced businesses; military-technical understanding is highly desirable
- Excellent Swedish and English, both written and spoken; German and/or French is desirable
- Swedish citizen
- Cleared or eligible for security clearance (SUA/security classification)
- Excellent ability to communicate in Swedish and English
