Are you an experienced purchaser looking to take a holistic approach to the procurement area and create clear, sustainable structures within a healthcare and social care organization? We are seeking a self-reliant Senior Purchaser for a consulting assignment at 50–100%. The assignment involves establishing processes, working with framework agreements, developing an item database, and driving data-driven procurement with a focus on consumables.

Responsibilities

The assignment entails professionalizing the procurement area and creating structure where it is lacking. You will work closely with operations and finance, driving both strategy, methodology, and practical implementation.

Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Develop and implement procurement processes and governance
• Ensure well-functioning framework agreements, including requirement setting, negotiation, and follow-up
• Build and quality-assure an item database for consumables
• Conduct spend analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Work with suppliers and ensure contract compliance
• Support operations with ordering and call-offs
• Drive improvement work related to structure, systems, and ways of working

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• Several years of experience in qualified procurement work
• Experience in building or improving procurement processes
• Documented experience with framework agreements and contract management
• Proficiency in spend analysis and procurement data
• Experience with indirect materials and consumables
• Strong system knowledge in procurement/ERP and advanced Excel skills
• Accustomed to working independently and driving both analysis and execution
