About the Unit

The Swedish Armed Forces Procurement Unit is located within the FMLOG (Swedish Armed Forces Logistics) formation. The work we perform is crucial for the Armed Forces' supply chain as well as strategic and operational success. The Procurement Unit carries out tenders and business operations necessary for the Armed Forces to conduct their activities efficiently. The Procurement Unit consists of seven departments spread across the country. We are now seeking a Senior Strategic Procurement Officer with a strong interest in business and operational development for the Management Support department.

Main Responsibilities

Act as business support and a sounding board on procurement matters
Participate in drafting clause texts, routines, templates, governing documents, etc., within the procurement area
Participate in and lead working groups within the area
Develop training materials and act as an instructor in public procurement
Monitor legislation and developments within the procurement area
Work with other enabling activities related to procurement
Act as a sub-process leader for the Procurement sub-process within the Swedish Armed Forces' Support Process for Procurement and Purchasing

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

Academic degree in law, economics, logistics, or engineering, or relevant education with, as assessed by the employer, equivalent knowledge and competence acquired in other ways
Experience in conducting tenders according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and/or the Act on Public Procurement in the Defence Sector (LUFS)
You have a strong interest and experience in procurement law
You enjoy and have experience of giving lectures/training
Excellent ability to express yourself orally and in writing, both in Swedish and English

Other Information

Start date as soon as possible by agreement. The position is a permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period. The position, Senior Strategic Procurement Officer, is located in Stockholm. A work trial may occur during recruitment.
