Region Stockholm holds overall responsibility for ensuring that everyone living in or visiting the region has access to a well-developed, easily accessible, and reliable public transport system. The mandate of the Transport Administration (TF) is to prepare and implement decisions regarding the direction and scope of a long-term sustainable public transport system. Additionally, we are responsible for the management and follow-up of traffic operations, as well as maintaining the functionality, safety, and value of the infrastructure. Every day, more than 700,000 people travel using public transport, including the metro, buses, commuter trains, and local railways.

About the Assignment

The Metro Section is seeking an experienced Contract Coordinator with expertise in the field of vehicles and systems. The Contract Coordinator will ensure that all contracts included in the procurement are developed, negotiated, and finally established with the correct requirements, clear commitments, and a structure that enables efficient delivery and collaboration. The role must also ensure that contracts harmonize with related contracts within the organization, such as maintenance agreements. The main responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for developing, structuring, and coordinating delivery and collaboration agreements within the framework of the projects.
  • Coordinate contract-related activities together with project management, legal, technical experts, and other internal and external parties.
  • Develop and formulate requirement texts, descriptions, and other contract content to be included in the projects.
  • Ensure that requirements emerging from operations are correctly translated into clear, traceable contract formulations.
  • Collaborate with legal and procurement departments when developing new contracts and drafting text materials.
  • Actively participate in negotiations with suppliers and other contract partners, in close cooperation with project management, procurement, and legal.
  • Ensure that agreements from negotiations are translated into clear and correct contract formulations.
  • Maintain regular contact with contract owners, technical requirement setters, and other relevant functions to verify that interpretations of contracts, requirements, and governing documents are correct.
  • Analyze and familiarize oneself with related contracts, such as technical framework agreements, service agreements, maintenance agreements, and other relevant governing documents.
  • Ensure that new and existing contracts work together without overlap, conflicts, or ambiguities.
  • Contribute to a cohesive contract structure that supports the organization's processes and project needs.
  • Ensure clear and traceable documentation of contracts, changes, requirements, and decision-making materials.
  • Participate in quality assurance of contract materials in collaboration with legal, procurement, and project management.
  • Regularly report status, risks, and needs related to contracts and contract-related activities.

The role requires high competence and experience primarily in:

  • Contract work in a project environment, preferably within technical or complex operations.
  • Experience in structuring and formulating contract text, requirement appendices, and extensive documentation.
  • Ability to translate requirements into clear and traceable contract formulations.
  • Very good ability to express oneself in writing in a clear, precise, and structured manner.
  • Experience in collaboration with legal, procurement, technology, and project management.
  • Good analytical ability and the ability to understand relationships between different contracts and governing documents.

Competence Requirements

We expect you to have experience, and it must be clearly evident in your CV that you have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in contract work within larger technology or infrastructure projects.
  • At least 4 years of experience in developing, coordinating, and structuring delivery and collaboration agreements.
  • At least 4 years of experience working with complex contracts including appendices and requirement appendices.
  • At least 2 years of experience formulating requirement texts and contract content with very good written skills in Swedish (contract formulation) and high linguistic precision.
  • At least 2 years of experience collaborating with legal and procurement departments when developing contracts.

Additional Requirements (Merits)

  • Education in law, commercial law, industrial economics, or procurement from a university/college.
  • At least 2 years of experience working on contract development within rail vehicle projects.
  • At least 2 years of experience in public procurement according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU).

Assignment Information

Assignment Period: 21/4/2026 - 2/7/2027
Extension Option: 1+1+1+1+1 year
Scope: 100%. The scope of the assignment will fluctuate over time. Remuneration is based on a variable fee. The scope is preliminarily estimated at 20 to 40 hours per week.
Location: Stockholm
