Job Description

We are now looking for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator/Purchasing Analyst. In the role of Purchasing Coordinator/Purchasing Analyst, you will support both the strategic and operational purchasing work for the client. The focus is on contributing to data-driven purchasing, quality assurance, improved processes, and efficient administration. You will work closely with category managers, project buyers, internal purchasers, and other key stakeholders. We prefer that you have a degree in business administration and have previously worked in similar roles for at least 8 years.

Responsibilities

Main tasks

  • Conduct purchasing analyses (e.g., spend analyses, supplier data, trends, and deviation management).
  • Be responsible for quality assurance, structuring, and compilation of master data within purchasing.
  • Update relevant purchasing and financial systems (e.g., contract databases).
  • Support ongoing purchasing administration, including order forms, requests, follow-up, and reporting.
  • Conduct simpler procurements and inquiries, including compiling quotation materials and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with internal purchasers, project managers, and other functions to ensure correct needs and data quality.
  • Participate in improvement work related to processes, routines, templates, and working methods within purchasing.
  • Support communication and information sharing within purchasing, including compilations and presentations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience in purchasing, supply chain, finance, administration, or a similar role for at least 8 years
  • Good ability to work with data, analysis, and structured information management.
  • Experience working in business systems, purchasing systems, or master data management.
  • Good understanding of procurement, contracts, and purchasing processes.
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Used to working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Education: business administration
  • Experience in contract purchasing is desirable but not a requirement.
