Assistant Store Manager for Grocery Store in Botkyrka.

Our client is a growing diversity store with 60 employees and a family-like work environment. We are now looking for a committed and driven Assistant Store Manager who wants to help further develop the business!

About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you are the store manager's right hand and play a key role in the daily operations. You assist where we are weak, support the staff, and actively work with key figures and optimization of the store's results. You have a rotating schedule and agree with the team on the distribution. You are a present leader – thrive best on the floor, close to both customers and the team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operations of the store
• Work with shrinkage, numbers, and optimization of the store's key figures
• Follow up and analyze the store's results
• Staffing and scheduling
• Coaching of employees
• Ensure that the store maintains high service and quality
• Work environment, safety, and customer issues
• Responsibility in the absence of the store manager
• Contribute to the continued family feeling and low employee turnover.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Solid experience from grocery retail (about 10 years)
• Previous personnel responsibility, e.g., as a team leader, sales leader, or fresh produce manager
• Is structured, solution-oriented, and coaching
• Fearless and confident in your role
• Is a present leader – thrives best on the floor, close to both customers and the team
• Can handle stress and make quick decisions
