Vattenfall Hydropower is looking for a team leader for mechanical maintenance, location Näsåker!

You will be part of a maintenance group consisting of mechanics, electricians, warehouse technicians, leading assemblers, team leaders, and a manager. We work with inspections, shutdowns, maintenance, and renovation projects at hydropower plants in the Ångerman River, and we can also take on assignments at Vattenfall's facilities in other rivers if needed.

In the mechanics team, we are about ten engaged colleagues who work together on maintenance and recurring inspections of generators, turbines (with associated auxiliary equipment), as well as intake and discharge gates. Our work is mainly carried out in large-scale hydropower plants and includes both newer and older equipment. By combining solid experience with modern maintenance technology, we create a work environment that is challenging, developing, and creative, always with a focus on safety.

As a team leader, you play an important role in creating conditions for our maintenance work, and you will work with:

• Planning, preparation, daily management, and follow-up of completed work
• Co-planning for inspections and shutdowns
• Handling incoming error messages, problem-solving, and some investigations
• Reporting deviations, order management, and permit controls
• Systematic safety and work environment efforts.

Requirements

You have education in industrial/workshop technology, mechanics, and/or maintenance. You may also have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience.

We prefer that you have held a leadership role where you gained experience in planning, prioritizing, and coordinating. It is an advantage if you have experience in maintenance work at hydropower plants or similar large-scale industrial operations.

As a person, you are responsible, forward-thinking, and trustworthy. You collaborate and create conditions for the team. To thrive and succeed in the role, it is important that you are structured and have a proactive working style. Through your ability to communicate and build relationships, you create engagement and understanding for the common task.

Good IT skills are a requirement, and you have experience working with the Office suite, maintenance systems (we use SAP), as well as reporting and planning tools. You speak and write good Swedish and have basic knowledge of English. A B driver's license is required as travel is part of the job.
