We are now looking for a medical secretary who wants to work as a resource secretary within Adult Psychiatry Lund. In this role, you will not be tied to a specific unit; instead, you will staff where the need is greatest. This means great variation, broad skills development, and the opportunity to get to know several different organizations.

The Adult Psychiatry has units in Lund, Arlöv, Eslöv, and Malmö, which makes flexibility and a humble approach to work important qualities. With us, you will have a role where your work matters every day. The Adult Psychiatry area in Lund provides psychiatric health care for adults over 18 years old. We conduct assessments/investigations of psychological symptoms and issues, as well as offer care, treatment, and rehabilitation based on a cross-professional competence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary with us, you are an important asset to both the organizations and our patients. Through your trustworthy approach, high service sense, and natural calmness, you contribute to stability and security for both patients and staff.

Your tasks include booking appointments, answering phone calls, writing medical records, handling referrals, and assisting with other administrative tasks at the reception. In this role, you will also have your own areas of responsibility, which will be shaped individually based on the needs of the units and your competence.

The working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed Health and Medical Care Administration (KY 80p/YH 400p) or has equivalent education as a medical secretary. You have good knowledge of medical terminology and strong skills in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience working in the Våps system and a general good knowledge of various administrative digital systems, as we will soon be implementing the new digital healthcare system SDV (Skåne's digital healthcare system).

To succeed in your role, we see that you can collaborate with different professional categories and that you have a good ability to adapt to changing circumstances. It is important that you are service-oriented and provide a good reception for both patients and colleagues. We are keen to find the right person for this position and will therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In the event of employment, a check against the suspicion and criminal record register will be conducted. No employment contract will be signed until the check is completed.

Habilitation provides habilitation and rehabilitation within publicly operated child, youth, and adult habilitation. Assistive devices are tasked with managing assistive devices prescribed to patients in Skåne. Within the administration, there are also services for vision, hearing, and deafness, as well as youth clinics in Skåne.
