Job Responsibilities

The Leisure Administration is now looking for a temporary coordinator for the Association Unit.

In the role of coordinator, you will work to coordinate parts of processes within the organization and support its effective functioning as support for the association life in Malmö.

To enable the best possible development of the association life, you will also be part of other tasks within the unit, which includes the disbursement of grants.

The Association Unit works with support and grants for the association life.

The association life we work with is broad and includes everything from large to smaller associations and organizations. The activities of the associations vary from various sports to dance, outdoor activities, and associations and organizations that run meeting places for Malmö residents. The Association Unit also operates the Leisure Bank located at Mobilia in Malmö.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant university education in social sciences, 120 credits, or a two-year vocational education. You have experience in the non-profit association life, such as leadership roles or board work. You also have experience writing short reports and coordinating activities. You will work closely with planning secretaries on process development and coordinating efforts.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience and knowledge of Malmö's association life. Likewise, if you have previously worked in the public sector. We believe that you are interested in social issues and strive for all Malmö residents to be able to participate in Malmö's association life. Therefore, experience in training for the association life and support in the development of the association life is an advantage.

As you will collaborate with the association life, it is important that you have knowledge of and interest in Malmö's association life and can meet people from all levels of the association life.

Part of the position is located at the Leisure Bank, so we consider it an advantage if you have experience in the service industry.

Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for the position. If you are multilingual, we see it as an advantage. Basic knowledge of data and IT is also a prerequisite for the position.

To fit in the role with us, you are goal-oriented, self-motivated, structured, and good at keeping order in different processes. As a coordinator, you are good at building relationships and enjoy helping others. Your communication skills will be important. You need to be attentive and able to translate information directly into action. You are driven to create results and change and have a strong desire to contribute to the development of the organization. Flexible and outgoing, with the ability to switch between tasks and collaborate with many different actors.

You have an easy time structuring and organizing your work, and you can prioritize and adapt if the situation requires it.

Some evening and weekend work may occur.

In addition, personal suitability for the position will be considered.
