JOB DESCRIPTION

Burlöv Municipality is looking for two labor market secretaries for the Adult and Welfare Unit, where we work with labor market issues and will be responsible for the upcoming law on activity requirements for social assistance.

In the Adult and Welfare Unit, you will be offered an active and participatory employee role as well as clear leadership and support in your work. You will be part of a team with varied tasks that help, learn, and inspire each other.

As a labor market secretary, you will provide support at the individual level. The activities should be individually tailored, where the starting point and focus for the activities, as far as possible, are based on the individual's conditions, needs, and wishes.

Our target group consists of individuals receiving social assistance and Burlöv residents aged 16-29 who are neither working nor studying. Often, these are individuals who are far from the labor market with complex issues and mental health challenges, and we work to bring them closer to employment through step transitions. Our work requires collaboration with both internal and external actors such as the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, Region Skåne, the non-profit sector, and the business community.

We have well-established routines and processes and see flexibility as an important part of the work. In your role, you will have close collaboration with your colleagues as well as coordinators and supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant degree as assessed by the employer.

Experience with the Supported Employment/Training method and MI is an advantage.

You are structured, driven, creative, responsible, and have good foresight. You have experience in motivational work with the target group and good knowledge of Swedish labor law and various authorities' regulations.

You find it easy to make contact, build relationships, and can work in a motivating manner. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people, is experienced and driven, and has the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
