Temporary International Officer

Content and Responsibilities

We are looking for an international officer with good knowledge of international student recruitment within universities. The job includes recruiting and preparing students for studies at Mau through webinars, creating informational materials for social media, Unibuddy (a digital communication platform for prospective and current students), as well as working with marketing primarily through digital media in collaboration with other staff at the International Office.

Qualifications

You should have an academic degree, preferably with a focus on marketing and communication, or other education that may be relevant for the position. Good competence in international recruitment and understanding of international students' needs is required. You should have documented knowledge of working with marketing and communication via social and digital media, both organic and paid content.

It is required that you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

You should be able to work independently, take initiative, and manage a work situation where many different tasks need to be solved simultaneously or spontaneously. As a person, you are well-organized with a good ability to analyze and process information. You are meticulous and care about working according to the organization's set goals. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.

Workplace

The Student Center belongs to Malmö University's common operational support where the International Office is one of four units. The International Office has a coordinating responsibility for the university's internationalization work. The unit's main mission consists of supporting the mobility of incoming and outgoing students for studies and internships, mentoring programs, and other activities at home, marketing and recruiting international students, cooperation agreements, staff mobility, faculty support for international educational cooperation, and support for university management in strategic matters regarding internationalization.
