MUNICIPAL EXECUTIVE OFFICE

The Municipal Executive Office consists of several central support functions such as communication, secretariat, staff, HR, finance, food, IT, security, as well as investigation and analysis.

FINANCE DEPARTMENT

We at the central finance department in Staffanstorp Municipality are a positive team that works together and supports each other. The finance department consists of a finance manager, accounting officer, budget economist, 3 economists, and 3 finance administrators.

The team works to develop the financial process for the entire municipality. Our main mission is to provide competent and secure management of the residents' funds based on political decisions.

We use the financial system UNIT4/Agresso and Hypergene as a decision support system.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We now have the opportunity to offer an exciting and developing position. The work is varied, and you will have an important role with significant responsibility. Your main tasks include accounts payable, fixed asset register, ongoing bookkeeping, year-end closing work, and reconciliations.

The position also includes being responsible for the finance department's information both internally and externally, e.g., as the web manager for the website and intranet. The position also involves providing support and training to the municipality's various operations in these areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in finance with a focus on accounting and/or experience in similar tasks. Experience with accounts payable and fixed asset registers is advantageous, as well as experience with Unit4/Agresso.

As a person, you are engaged and self-driven while being able to collaborate easily with others. You are also meticulous and have a sense for details. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. According to routine, background checks will be requested before employment can occur.
