Accountant/Controller for Fibio

Fibio is relocating parts of its operations from Helsingborg to Malmö, and you will be part of the team that establishes the new office in Malmö and ensures that the transition goes smoothly by syncing working methods, routines, and processes between the offices during the move. About the Role

You will handle the ongoing accounting end-to-end while also providing analysis, KPIs, and decision support. The role has two hats: approximately 70% accounting and 30% controller/analysis. You will develop and improve the finance function together with the CEO – routines, processes, reporting, and systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate monthly closings and a stable everyday financial environment.
• Build simple, scalable routines and internal controls that endure over time.
• Provide clear decision support: key figures, short P&L/cash flow analysis, and recommended actions.
• Drive budgeting and rolling forecasts in close collaboration with the CEO.

Responsibilities

Accounting (approx. 70%)

• Ongoing bookkeeping, Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable, payment matching, reminders/collections.
• Invoicing and revenue recognition, subscriptions, credits, accruals.
• Reconciliations (bank, balance, and interim accounts), accruals.
• VAT and employer declarations as well as reporting to the Tax Agency.
• Monthly and annual closings with comments, supporting documents for auditors.
• Liquidity: cash flows and short-term cash flow/liquidity forecasts.
• Internal control and routines: approval flows, coding, chart of accounts/cost centers.
• Systems and processes: improve financial flows, receipts/approvals, reporting.

Controller/Analysis (approx. 30%)

• Analysis of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow – monthly review.
• Budgeting and rolling forecasts.
• Overview of key figures: ARPU/ACPU, gross margin, churn.
• Profitability per subscription type/product and recommendations.
• Dashboards/reports for management (e.g., Power BI/Looker Studio).

Qualifications

• At least a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (or equivalent).
• 3–6 years of experience in qualified accounting; confident in monthly closings from start to finish.
• Experience in budgeting/forecasting and basic profitability analysis.
• Good system skills, knowledgeable in Fortnox, and proficient in Excel/Sheets.
• Meriting: BI tools (Power BI/Looker Studio) and experience from subscription businesses (telecom/insurance/energy).
