The mission of the Corporate Communications Office is to contribute to strengthening the brand of Region Skåne and to realize the decided operational goals, political decisions, and vision through professional communication efforts. The position of visual communicator is located within the Corporate Communications Office, in the area of digital communication, which consists of a total of four units working to develop and manage Region Skåne's digital channels. We are over 50 colleagues in the area working to improve the experience and service for residents and employees across various digital channels.

The Media Production unit works with moving media production in several of Region Skåne's digital channels and develops and manages moving media content about health and care on 1177.se.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of visual communicator, you will support our animation and illustration work. The productions include both community information as well as health and care aimed at residents and patients.

You will collaborate with colleagues in the unit and in various project groups in the area, providing both operational and strategic support with knowledge of visual communication. You will be part of our projects and productions, focusing on the specific assignments you are assigned and then executing from concept to finished production in close consultation with your partners.

In the unit, you will work closely with colleagues specialized in film, animation, and photography, as well as project managers and production leaders as part of our teams. Productions are carried out in Adobe After Effects, Character Animate, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. In some cases, filmed material and photography may also be included depending on what is required for the specific production.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree or other education combined with professional experience deemed equivalent. You have experience working in digital communication and experience working with animation, illustration, and graphic design. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of how large organizations use various channels to effectively reach their customers and/or residents. Additionally, you have good knowledge of guidelines for moving images and know what is required for an animated film to be accessible to as many people as possible.

You are knowledgeable and accustomed to working independently with production tools within the Adobe CC suite such as After Effects, Illustrator, and InDesign. It is considered an asset if you can also work in Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition for film and audio editing. It is valuable if you also have knowledge and experience in developing concepts and guidelines for larger productions and experience being a natural part of the various aspects of production.

You are used to working with clients who may have different expectations for projects. This means you need to be attentive and diplomatic to ensure that what you produce and deliver is of high quality from a communicative perspective. You work proactively, goal-oriented, and possess good strategic and tactical abilities. It is essential that you are driven, creative, and meticulous, especially in animation and illustration. Additionally, your analytical skills are strong, and you can see how the parts fit together for the target audience.
