The group home is located in the residential area of Hässlegården, Lyckeby, about 3 km from the center of Lyckeby. There is a bus stop at the residence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of support assistant, you motivate, support, and help the users with the tasks that occur in all aspects of daily life. The work is based on the individual's own resources, needs, and wishes with the goal that the person can live as independently and fully as possible. The work is based on individual implementation plans where social documentation is part of the job. You work both independently, in a group, and in collaboration with other professionals. Your employment also includes the ability to work at other workplaces either through collaboration shifts or joint planning.

The work involves heavy physical tasks such as care duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

We see that you have:

• High school diploma in: health and care education, child and leisure education (requirement for special pedagogy 1 and 2) or teaching assistant education (requirement for special pedagogy 1 and 2)
• Driver's license for a car
• Basic knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. Documentation is an important part of our work, and you therefore need to master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing.

It is meritorious:

• Education and/or experience in clarifying pedagogy
• Education and/or experience in low-arousal approach
• Education and/or experience in social stories and series conversations
• Education and/or experience in salutogenic working methods
• Experience working with psychiatry
• Experience working with NPF diagnoses

We are looking for someone who has the ability to organize and structure work effectively. You are good at prioritizing tasks and coordinating resources to achieve short- and long-term goals.
