JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a health educator, you will meet individuals who are outside the labor market, and through group activities and individual conversations, you will support them in getting into work or studies. The main task is to guide individuals towards health-promoting lifestyle and behavioral changes by equipping and empowering them to create sustainable routines regarding diet, sleep, stress management, and exercise.

You will work alongside labor market coaches who lead the courses, where you will provide lectures on health.

The department's units have a cohesive process, and you will collaborate with colleagues in other units.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in health education. Previous experience working with empowering and health-promoting initiatives aimed at individuals with confirmed or perceived ill health is advantageous.

We seek someone who independently seeks new challenges and makes things happen. You need to have the ability to organize and structure your work based on participants and colleagues to prioritize tasks. You enjoy working both in teams and individually and strive for common goals. It comes naturally to you to compromise and share information and knowledge. You are communicative and clear, have the ability to listen actively and understand others' perspectives to best meet our participants. You need to have good self-awareness and be aware of your strengths and weaknesses, as well as the ability to adapt your behavior based on the individuals you meet and a desire to constantly improve.
