JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help create safer environments for young people in Ronneby? We are looking for field secretaries for our preventive team!

Now you have the chance to become a key person in our work to support and strengthen young people in Ronneby municipality. As a field secretary, you will work closely with young people in their everyday lives at schools, youth centers, streets, and digital platforms, contributing to creating positive contexts and preventing social exclusion.

You will be part of an engaged preventive team where collaboration, innovation, and relationship-building are at the center. We offer a working environment with present leadership, competent colleagues, and great opportunities to influence and develop.

What does the role entail?

As a field secretary, you will work proactively and build relationships with young people. Your mission is to:

• Create contact and build trust with young people in their environments.
• Conduct youth conversations and lead group meetings.
• Implement youth services.
• Conduct preliminary assessments.
• Carry out information campaigns in schools and other forums on themes such as alcohol, drugs, and crime.
• Collaborate with police, schools, leisure activities, and other actors within the framework of SSPF.
• Be an active part of the development of interventions without needs assessment (IUB) according to the new social services act.
• Working hours are primarily scheduled during office hours, 817. However, fieldwork may occur in the evenings and approximately every other Friday or Saturday evening, depending on the needs of the operation.

You belong to the unit Advice and Support for Families, which consists of experienced and knowledgeable colleagues with great commitment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in social work.
• Experience in fieldwork or youth work.
• Further education in MI, CBT, addiction issues, or crime.
• The ability to create trust and build relationships with young people.
• Confidence in working in various environments from classrooms to digital platforms.
• Initiative, humility, and curiosity.

You thrive in a flexible work environment where the assignment can change based on current societal needs, and you are not afraid to take space where it is needed.
