About Us
We are now looking for an HR Generalist to strengthen us with qualified expertise in HR. The position is located at the Naval Warfare School staff. The staff consists of about forty employees, both civilian and military personnel, grouped in the staff building at Örlogshamnen Karlskrona. The HR department's task is to support and coach managers in decision-making and assist with administration and processing in various processes.
The HR department consists of an HR manager, three HR generalists, and a personnel officer.
Main Responsibilities
As an HR Generalist with us, you will work broadly within the entire HR area, such as recruitment, salary formation, competence supply, and labor law. You will be responsible for the administration of employment, contracts, salary issues, and also provide consultative support to managers and employees within the entire HR area based on applicable guidelines, policies, laws, and agreements. The daily work consists of a mix of administrative tasks as well as the development of your own area of responsibility, partly depending on experience and interest. A focus area is working time agreements/mobility agreements, and the role also includes time reporting/events/shift planning/personnel reports/checks, etc., in our support system (PRIO).
The work may also involve conducting training and workshops within the HR area to strengthen the organization's competence.
To thrive and succeed in your role, you must have experience in personnel administrative work.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Education at the university level in personnel/HR or equivalent education/experience deemed relevant by the employer
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Very good administrative skills

Employment Conditions
The position is a permanent full-time (40h/week) civilian employment with a start date according to agreement. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a 6-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.
Individual salary setting applies.
Work location: Karlskrona, travel may occur in the position.

The Naval Warfare School (SSS) trains officers, specialist officers, sailors, and soldiers at all levels. SSS also conducts studies, trials, and leadership training of ship crews, as well as tactics and technology development in the maritime field. SSS also has a responsibility for diving and naval medicine in the Swedish Armed Forces. SSS is primarily based in Karlskrona in Blekinge but also has a unit in Berga outside Stockholm specialized in amphibious warfare.
